The PicoStream floating turbine generates renewable electricity day and night from existing water flows. It is designed to be rapidly deployed, low-impact, recyclable and suitable for sites where conventional hydropower is too expensive or complex.

Launched commercially in 2025, PicoStream is designed to unlock renewable generation from thousands of overlooked water sites in the UK and beyond.

I have to say my mind is a bit blown, it’s been the most portable solution to renewable energy that I’ve seen so far and I think it’s really exciting.”
